About Jack’s Bagels
Jack’s Bagels is the first bagel franchise shop in South Africa named after the co-owners J-Lee Human and Jack’s son.
He was 3-years old when the first bagel shop was opened and he ended up being a regular customer. He is known to be the first on the line to get fresh flavored bagels.
The Jack’s Bagels shop was started on March 18th, 2018 at the main road, Walmer. The second shop followed on September 12th, 2019 at the Perridgevale Centre, Greenacres.
The South African clientele forced the owners to switch to New York-style bagels since they wanted something lighter. The traditional Jewish-style bagels were way too heavy.
