RocoMamas Famoush Smashburgers
RocoMamas is one of the youngest players in the fast food industry in South Africa, but they’ve grown to become one of the trendiest and most popular – all thanks to their delicious burgers.
Their success can be attributed to focusing their menu on a particular style of burger – the Smashburger.
How is a Smashburger different from a regular burger? It’s all in the patty. Instead of a thick, chewy patty, it’s smashed down (literally) into something resembling a pancake. This technique allows it to be crispier, juicier, and some argue – a far more enjoyable burger.
Whatever type of burger you prefer, with the hundreds of different combinations and toppings available on the RocoMamas menu, you’ll be hard-pressed not to find the perfect combo for you.

About RocoMamas
Founded in 2013 by Brian Altriche and Paul Dempsey, the company has grown to become one of the most loved restaurants in South Africa by burger fanatics.
They were one of the first restaurants to bring the unique Smashburger to South Africans – and the locals almost instantly fell in love.
