2023 Romans Pizza Menu Updates
It may come as a surprise to you, but the 2023 pizza menu is just about identical to the previous year’s menu at Romans Pizza. There have been no changes to the types of pizzas available, except for the small change on the Peri-Peri chicken pizza, which is now being made with a new recipe.
Maybe they’ve had a talk to their rivals over at Nandos for some tips on how to improve their Peri-Peri chicken! Either way, it’s hard to compete with them since the Nandos menu is so popular all over the country.
What’s On The Menu
It was Arthur Nicolakakis who got it all started for Romans Pizza in South Africa. He had the simple goal of providing quality food, ensuring the satisfaction of his customers 100% of the time.
Achieving his goal required a near perfect pizza menu, and that’s exactly what he created.
Today, you’ll see their menu is divided into categories for the different types of pizzas available. Value Range, Rumbling, Grumbling, Famished, and Ravenous are their names.
Each section of the menu brings you a fantastic range of pizzas to order. They also vary in price depending on the category (but not by much).
Without a doubt, however, you’ll most certainly be pleased with any pizza you order.
Most Popular Pizzas
With all of their pizzas being so damn good, it’s extremely tough to stand up and say this one’s the best. You’ve all got your own taste buds curated over your life which will likely be different from the person standing next to you in the line at Romans Pizza.
Of course, some pizzas have certainly been claimed to be the favourites of many locals. In particular, the Bacon Supreme. It comes with a tomato base and is topped with mushroom, onion, green pepper, and large slices of bacon – absolutely delicious.
If that sounds a little too simple to you, go for the Bacon, Avo, and Feta instead. It’ll cost you a little more, but it’s definitely one of the top players on the Romans Pizza menu.
If you prefer the simple cheese pizza, have no fear, Romans got you covered. Their Three Cheese pizza is just that – cheese simplified. Tomato base with cheddar, mozzarella, and feta melted to perfection over the top. Brilliant.

About Romans Pizza
Back when it all began for Romans Pizza in 1993, it wasn’t even called Romans Pizza – it was called Little Caesar’s. The first location was opened by Arthur Nicolakakis in Pretoria.
It was until nearly a decade later in 2002 when it was rebranded the Romans Pizza you know today. Over the years, they’ve adapted and changed their pizza menu with the aim to satisfy all the hungry mouths who walked through their doors. And they’ve been doing a damn good job of it.

The Romans Pizza menu has adapted to feature a pizza to suit even the pickiest of pizza eaters.
In 2008, it was time for the founder to take a step back – and in came to his son, John Nicolakakis, who went on to take over the business.
John kept his father’s values of cooking the best pizzas in South Africa. Their pizzas have been praised by thousands, with some even saying it takes off the freshness of the seafood on the enjoy your pizza.
Romans Pizza also plays a role in their local communities by supporting a number of organizations. One of them is football.
