Simply Asia Menu Updates
There has been relatively little change to the menu at Simply Asia so far.
As many of their competitors have done as well, most of the dishes available have increase in price, but only by a small amount between R1.00 and R5.00 generally.
Other than that, most of the menu has stayed the same with only one or two items being removed and added in.
Sushi at Simply Asia
If you’re after some hand rolled sushi available in a huge range of different styles and combinations, you can’t go wrong paying a visit to your local Simply Asia.
One of their most popular sushi dishes is theirs inside out salmon roll. An inside out roll with salmon, and a choice of your filling as well.

Looking for something a little lighter? Give their Cucumber Maki a taste. Cucumber and rice rolled in a sheet of delicious seaweed. Yum.
On top of the classic sushi available, you’ll also see they have a range of sashimi and nigiri on their menu. Popular options include their salmon and tuna sashimi.

You’ll be pleased to know that thanks to the fact Simply Asia has been serving delicious food in South Africa for decades now, they’ve grown to have restaurants all around the country.

Unfortunately, if you aren’t in any of these areas, you may have to travel a little while if you want to dine in one of their restaurants.

About Simply Asia
Chai Lekcharoensuk, a Thai national, spent five years in South Africa before he decided to give one of the local Thai restaurants a go. Needless to say, he was overly disappointed with the un-Thai-like meal he was served.
So much so, he decided South Africa deserved better and decided to open up one of the first upmarket Thai dining restaurants in the country.
A little while later after much planning, the first Wang Thai restaurant opened in 1993. Offering the residents of Cape Town a new place to enjoy an evening sampling authentic Thai food.
The locals loved it so much, that he decided to simplify the menu slightly and open another location, albeit 10 years after the thought. This time naming it Simply Asia Thai Food & Noodle Bar.
The chain has come a long way over the years, with Simply Asia menu consistently adapting and improving its offerings.
Today, there are more than 50 Simply Asia restaurants in Africa, with a large majority of them situated in South Africa.
